Labtech recently had the pleasure of working with five school in the state of Johor to implement the MySTL program. In this implementation, students will be creating digital projects to demonstrate what they learned in the previous school year. This model was developed to teach students how to use technology to become content creators rather than content consumers. Using a student-driven approach, students will plan, create, and evaluate content to be shared with the wider Malaysian society.

The schools selected by the state education office are:

  • SMK Mohd Khalid
  • SMK Taman Universiti 2
  • SMK Kimpleks Sultan Abu Bakar
  • SMK Kulai Besar
  • SMK Gelang Patah

Partners with Labtech in this project are: Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC), Microsoft, Johor State JPN, and Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA).
